A Letter to Our Patients

Our commitment to your safety is #1. We already, as a daily practice, follow universal precautions as outlined by the CDC, OSHA, and ADA standards of infection control. Safety is always our number one focus. Our high standard of care ensures that your trust and safety are never compromised.

We are taking extended measures to further protect all our patients and team with the following additional protocols:

•	Our office will communicate with you before your appointment to ask some screening questions. You'll be asked those same questions again when you come to the office.
•	In compliance with the recommendations for public health, anyone with a cough or fever will not be allowed in the building and should stay home. We will be happy to reschedule your appointment for a later date.
•	Before your appointment, you have the option to stay in your car instead of the waiting room until we're ready to seat you in your personal operatory. Simply call us when you arrive (765-287-7000), and we will let you know when we're ready for you.
•	Upon entering Advanced Family Dentistry of Muncie, you will be asked to sanitize your hands. You will find hand sanitizer throughout the office should you need it.
•	We will be taking temperatures on all patients.
•	We will be taking temperatures and illness risk assessments on all employees EVERY time they report for work.
•	Our team will be wearing additional Personal Protective Equipment.
•	We are installing medical grade air purifiers in each of the patient operatories and throughout the office.
•	All water used for patient procedures is steam distilled.
•	At the end of your appointment, we will have you use hand sanitizer again before returning to check-out.

You can be assured safety measures at Advanced Family Dentistry of Muncie will continue to evolve as more information develops.
